I wonder if any of you have downloaded WIKI Camps, if so could you pass on some information please as
I am not having any luck in doing so, we are about to embark on our first trip in our van but had to change
plans due to the floods in and around N.S.W.
Regards to all.

What sort of problems Carole?
I've downloaded the iPad and Android versions. The only problem I had was I never received the verification code for the Android version which was my fault as I had misspelt my email address. All sorted out once I contacted them.

Gday Carole and welcome to the playground.
I have an iPhone, and iPad with wiki on both. If you are trying to put it on a PC then Im not sure it works (cant understand why).
Good luck, but we do need to know what device you are trying.

Should download without any problems on iPhone / iPad. Contact Wiki Camps directly from their website, they are very helpful.

Welcome to the gang Carole, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I have Wiki on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Android phone and works well, easy to download. I also have a hard copy of Camps 7 and work with both.
Keep safe on the roads.

Wiki Camps will download to an IPhone or Ipad with no problems or to an Android Phone or Tablet.
You can have a 2 week free trial before you need to buy the app.
When you first download the app the first page you will see is a page with multiple icons.
Select Offline content.
Then on the page that is displayed select Offline maps this will then download it will take a while and try to do this while on Wi Fi.
Next select the States that you will be travelling in and download the data base for each of those States, again preferably when you are on Wi FI.
Now every time your apps update, the data base for Wiki Camps will be updated with the latest comments, prices and new camp additions.
I only have my phone set to do app updates when on Wi Fi but if you have a large data plan it can update using your phones data plan.
Once you have done this you can use the app where ever you are and you do not need to be connected, it is available anywhere at any time.
Cheers

Hi Carole
You can get Wiki Camps through the app store on your iPhone but, you have to have an apple ID account and in this you have to put in a credit card to pay for any purchases that are not free.
Wiki Camps comes at a cost and if you haven't set up your account it will not download.
Hope you have it sorted and good luck..
Cheers

I'm lucky (I think?) in that I have WikiCamps on all four platforms - works fine on Win 8 but you can't download offline maps, this requires Win 10.
