We heard that Blazeaid needed help in WA. Prior to leaving, had my M/H checked out. I didn't know that "Dodgy Bros." auto electricans had so many branches interstate. My actual home is a 1991 Mazda bus. Newcastle, NSW. New starter motor, regulator, "house" and cranking batteries. $1,500. Esperance WA. four hours looking for a short under the dash. $400.oo. When my M/H came out of the workshop, the headlights were on, but the switch wasn't. Then I saw that the dash warning lights were flashing. When asked why, all I got was a "Dunno." Kalgoorlie. WA. Faulty alternator? $250.oo. The repairs lasted 'til Menzies. Alice Springs. NT. New alternator, plus hi/low and indicator switch. $1,500. I had asked them about the flashing warning lights on the dash before it was worked on. That was met with a "Dunno, but we can rebook it in and start looking"? Longreach. Qld. Another new starter motor, as the first new one had got wet. $500.00. The dash light started flashing again late afternoon, when we were well south. OK, so "it" happens. Coolah. NSW. At a mates place for a couple of days. Friday AM. Went to start "noble steed" A frightening cloud of smoke issued from the steering column. Turned everything off.
I just sat there and wondered where I should go with this. Everything was done interstate, apart from Newcastle. It's only my word against theirs. Plus there's only one of me. Who should I kill, first. However, once I went back into my bus and turned on the world news, I realised that I really haven't got any problems at all. I'll sort it
Regards.

Auto electrics can be a nightmare, especially in an older vehicle. It only takes one wire to have a minor short and therein starts a lot of probs. I hope that you can get yours shorted.......eerrrr sorted.

I feel for ya Pipes.
Have somehow ended up with a 10 year old chinese Quad in my shed. Was told "it just stopped"....WTF ?????????.
Last one that had my goin a bit was someones GL700 Honda.............................
Oh Well....gives me something to do I guess.
Hope you get it all sorted...but it has me a bit intrigued tho ....surely a bus of its vintage shouldn't be too high tech hey....but then the tradies these daye seem to miss out on learning the basics...like red is usually positive...and black usually negative....errr well...you know wot I mean hey.
