Is it just me or are there others out there who have thought that since last weekend when they changed all the stations around ,there is only repeats ,and programs for young people .Where has chanel 84 gone ,i used to watch the Garden gurus on that station of a morning ,now nowere to be seen. I fink it was tied in with channel 10 but i could be wrong. Also i am a big fan of the Moto GP motorcycles race where has that gone to .Cheers JOHN .. Me thinks that the powers are slowly faising out free to air tv ,in future we will have to watch it on pay for view tv .they are doing the same with newspapers ,as more people are seeing the news online now rather than in printed form .

Gday..
Yeah I know the feeling
However, I use this site for any TV I may wish to watch ... I find it very accurate and covers all of Straya.
Simply select the region you are in (or want to see the programs for).
Click in the box under the Australian TV Guide words, choose the time of day and the day and it should populate with all the programs for ya.
cheers - John

I use 'Freeview TV Guide' Works the same as Rocky's. It shows 84 as being TVSN. A shopping channel.
I understand the changes are regional only not the major cities.

My understanding is that the actual programming hasn't changed, just the channel that you can watch it on, with the exception of the 9Life channel.
According to Mr. Google, the Southern Cross network does not currently have sufficient HD transmitters to show all of the Channel 9 stations which were formerly on the Win Network. 9Life should be returning as soon as the transmitters have been upgraded. A bit of a balls-up, but that's not unusual for TV.

Slightly off topic sorry. Been on the road since April 22 Vic all around to Albany currently and not one minute if telly.
In an 11ft van its a challenge. I read ABC news on the net when reception permits.
Its good for the marriage.

Push another button on the remote Brian. If that fails listen to some music or watch a DVD. It works well here in the tropics.

Trouble with FTA is there's virtually nothing on there. just repeated over and over.
I watch Footy. Black List. and Tom Sellick.
that's about it.
Nothing else worth watching.
Just take a normal antenna nowadays for Di to get news.
No Reception. No News. easy.
Aprt from that, coupla 2 gig hard drives full of movies and musicals.
Both have same in there in case one carks.
HF reciever gives weather. and blokes chatting.
Hey ALL.
What's a good screen, cheap HD LCD/LED TV around 50/55in for downstairs and movies.
There's too many on market.

Before I sold up and went on the road full time I had a 50" Samsung LED slim line hooked up to a Boss sound system. Great for normal TV but excellent for movies, especially action movies. Musicals would be good too. I have heard there are some good sound bars around these days instead of listening to the TV speakers.
I now have a 24" Teak LED with built in DVD player hooked up to the van sound system. I actually listed to movies through my good ear buds though, that way I can have it up as loud as I want.
Happy movie watching.

Now we know why your ears are strangely shaped Doug - you forget to take the ear plugs out when you get up to empty the bladder during the evening - amazing how strong those thin little bud wires are LOL

Hey Chief....yeah - but you had buds growing out of your ears yuk yuk yuk, so you probably didn't hear it. I love your sense of humour and that you can take a windup meant in good humour, without taking offence. And I also look forward to your monthly reports.
Hey Rocky John - thanks for the URL for ebroadcast. Found it and now have it as a favourite. You always contribute so much useful stuff to us all :)

For Qld viewers - Channels Nine and Ten have basically swapped programming so the Rugby League is now found on the Channels starting with 5 and things that were on those channels are now on channels starting with 8.
All about contract renewals! And, to get all of the channels, you WILL need to retune your TV unless it is very new and picks up the channel changes automatically.
