Its a bit of a worry because with the volume of vehicles affected, it will be many months before they are all checked and fixed. Meantime you wonder if your window wipers may suddenly stop or your headlights fail for example.
These are obviously design faults - not the assembly workers carelessness - how do the vehicle makers keep making these mistakes?

Our old 2004 Lancer has the airbag recall that has still to be replaced and our 2010 Lancer is in this recall by the looks of it. "Someone is out to get us" LOL, only thing is it's not a laughing matter.

I see Jeep Cherokee is on a recall list with park lever problems.
Bought about by the actor from Star Trek being run over by his Jeep with the park lever issue.
