Mate over in Kentucky has the best Chevvy towing his 41ft 5th wheeler.
3500 dual rears, dual cab. everything that opens and closes.
It's better than my $6 grand lounge chairs when in there. Does everything but wipe your arse.
Cost on road over there 6 yrs ago $46 US k. At same time over here. Converted unit same as, would cost me $147 plus AUD.
You tell me. Over 100k to convert and get plated?. Outright thuggery then some hey. It's a hell of a thing to drive too, I did for a week. didn't want to get out of it.
What we have here are toys. Expensive ones at that too.
That thing up there though.
I'd rather have a 650 Dirt Bike.

Howdy maccka17, That sounds like one hell of a tow wagon your Mate has,
Some pictures of it would be great to envy,
I gotta agree with you about being ripped off here as far as the cost of things go when importing from the States,
I was looking at large Motor Homes in the States a while back, what you can buy over there for $30k USD would be worth over $100 k here.
and what you get over there for that money would leave nothing to be desired.
Here's an example, for less than $20k you can buy this Ripper..........
If you loved the 56 Chevy, you will love this recreation,
Here's a car I would love to get my hands on, If I could afford it that is................
It's not cheap, So be sitting when you go to this Site that tells all...............
