Once they get rid of that coach and Gallan. they'll be a different force to reckon with.
At present they stepping on the field with the "we'll lose again" attitude.
and the playmakers aren't allowed to call the shots.
Just watch the frustrations building in their faces as the game progressed.
and hasn't G.I come out of his box.......
Pleasure to watch him again.

It is times like last night that it makes one proud to be an Aussie, and of course even just as proud to be a
Q U E E N S L A N D E R.
What a player J.T is.
Did you happen to read his lips when the whistle blew.
He said "You F&^%*&g Beauty" or it could have been " You flaming beauty.
Any way it was BEAUTIFUL to see the Maroons take another series win.
What a job JT team mates gave him. Great kicks from the side line. I honestly thought that he had kicked the goal he missed.
He is a LEGEND

I am very proud to be a QUEENSLANDER. Gus Gould admitted that NSW will not win while they have the selfish lead plsyers in there side so everyone thst thinks Gallen is great think again.

In the build up to last night's game, I was digging out my VHS tapes that go back to the late 1990s & I came across a couple of RL publications.
Gee they were biased then. Not like now of course.
They were beautiful to read with one article complaining that a couple of NSW players were in the Aus. team to tour NZ, but it relented a little as one of the bench players was the Bronco Chris Johns.
One mag was called 'Lords of Lang Park' & labeled "Restricted: for Queensland eyes only"
Glowing Tributes. To the 1989 Qld Team of course. Against all Odds .. About all the serious Qld injuries to the victorious second SOO in Sydney Qld ... modestly described as "Courageous, Gutsy, heoric, brilliant, superior, transcedent, sublime, matchless and bloody amazing. In fairness the article mentioned 'the fluked try to NSW the second half' ".
Pest Control .. Showed Fatty Vautin & three "clean living team mates" gang tackling a c0ckroach.
A collection of three Lang Park anthems ... BullSh1t .. Boo the blues .. & Three cheers for Langer
Super Coaches .. Arthur Beatson ... Wayne Bennett .. "forget Gibson, Ryan & Fulton"
Bella Magnifico ... "He's not just a pretty face!"
Gentle Gene ... "Formerly the world's greatest centre noe the most loved & respected forward in the game ... "
Brilliant Broncos .. Just for a bit of local club colour. Winning the Panasonic cup.
A Few of Our Favourite Sons .. Belcher. Lindner, Han**** Walters, Vautin
A guide for N S Welshmen .. "How to Become A Queenslander"
Sams Our Man .. "More Sex appeal than Paul Newman ... etc"
The Face of Greatness .. Facts about Langer
Queensland's Secret Weapon .. Wally Lewis .. Shows supporters throwing emergency supplies (of the familiar xxx yellow cans) onto the hallowed ground.
To add balance it ends on an article on NSW titled "Feelin' the Blues" Including a picture of Wayne Pearce who "couldn't face another SOO series & declined to attend this year's festivities"
I can see now why I kept them for so long .... great for the Grandkids to read.
Oh yes no Guss Gould those days. Gee I love to hear him say that NSW was yet again the best team (but lost again) and that face of his at full time was magic. Yes he was NSW's most successful coach. Not much to beat, but couldn't hold a candle to Big Mal.
Winners can laugh & loosers can please themselves.
Off now to re watch the first two games..

Here's a sample in the attachment.
Using an image resizer it's only 85mB so I could probably eMail the lot.
it's Cam's team not Johnny's.
He's only one of the playmakers.
Does a good job though hey.
They play as a team. that's the main difference.
blues have half a team change near every game.
Apart from the same old losers in charge again and again.
Until they play same blokes for a coupla three or four seasons.
They ain't going to get anywhere.
Trouble being, most of our top players will be home in retirement by then.
and Blues will probably start winning till our new better players get some games under their belts..
they do have some good players in NSW.
They just neeed leaving alone by the dumb heads in charge to play footie.
May the best team win- AGAIN.
And again and again.
Once they get rid of that coach and Gallan. they'll be a different force to reckon with.
At present they stepping on the field with the "we'll lose again" attitude.
