Is anyone having any hassles with their vast renewal. I am trying to renewal mine but not getting any response. Normally it advises that the renewal has been done or if you try more than 1 month in advance it advises you that you cannot until the renewal happens under 1 month. I am not getting any answer response at all.

Hi Briche;
First off with the vast renewal, do your have your dish connected !!! can you receive channel 800 !!! Even with your receiver running out of authorized time you can still receive this default channel.
You have to be able to receive this channel be for asking for your receiver to be authorized ( vast will need your receivers card 10 digit number ) and a e-mail is the best way of contacting them. It could take a little while for it to happen, but try one of the channels and if not go back to channel 800 and try a bit later.

Hi Briche,
As above I reconnected on 17th. You must leave your set switched on till the TV confirms that you are back on. On the TV screen It will tell you ( If you are reciving this broadcast on Ch800 you are back on.) They will send you a confirmation Email.

I just ring the charming lady in Qld who does the renewals on 1300993376...quote my name and Smart Card Number...she knows me now anyway.....I have renewed out of the stipulated times as I tell her I'm heading into the W.A. donga again and won't be able to communicate..she extends my Vast another 6 months....she also transfers the East Coast/West Coast Service for me as well....all done in one simple phone call....if everyone was as co-operative/obliging as this Lady we would never have any problems in our business dealings.....Hoo Roo

You don't have to talk to anyone, just go to this page, put your details and wait, usually not long provided your sat dish is locked onto the sat & you have the 800 channel. They will do the re-hit during office hours EST.

Problem resolved, got my dates mixed up, 3 months early. Senior moment I guess. Thanks all for comments. Just goes to show how well this forum works.
