Here at home base I have unlimited Internet and have been watching Grey Nomad and camping movies. I know we have a photo section but have many of you been making movies for YouTube?
One couple have a few GoPro cameras for the tug, handheld and of all things one of those 4 armed helicopters things. I tell you the films they make are stunning, I think photo stills have been made redundant.
I've just gone out to buy one of these GoPro cameras and will make a few movies in a few months when we go up to Port Douglass, maybe, if I can figure out how to turn it on.
I get that when we're mobile WiFi is limited to upload these huge files so we're going to save them on a HDD for later editing and upload when we get back to home base.
All I can say is these HD movies are the next best thing to actually being there, the image quality has really come of age.
Cheers and look forward to finding out what others are doing..

Re Turning on your Drone.
Maybe watch "The Big Bang Theory " Episode where they try to turn on a drone.

Yeah it's called YouTube dot com or similar.
Jokes aside though some of the films they make with their GoPro and Drones are very impressive.

Those You Tube movies recently have changed.
and want your cretit card details b4 giving access to them.
Not this little black duck.
Download Bit torrent first.
Go on net. list modern movies. Or period /type you like.
Pick one or more.
Bring up Pirate search and put movie into search box.
they'll give you several choices.
Pick one. go through directions and it'll be uploaded for you.
Just try to get the DVDrips. they cleaner copies.
And I never said this. OK.Nearly everybody I know does this.
I get from US, weeks or months before they released here. Legaly.. Movie samples.

do you know the channel name ... there are plenty of HD movies on Youtube.
I asked them about their equipment and production techniques and they have only quite basic stuff but very good movies. I'd say they are quite techie savvy...
