Although I have never met you, I learnt so much about you from your posts. Some were educational, some were very funny but none were offensive or rude to others.
Thank you for sharing your travels, you are an inspiration to us all.
I think the forum has died a little bit today.

All of the above John. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet you last year at Wuruma Dam and hope our paths can cross again at some point in the future. Glad that the blog will remain accessible, it's a great repository for living the GN lifestyle. Good luck and safe travels wherever you travel - on land or sea!
Cheers

Thanks for your blogs John. Although I don't start full time travel for another 1476 days, your blog above all others I have read, inspired me to commence my own record of my trip including the initial planning stage.
I wish you safe and happy travels and would love to meet you one day down the track.

Thanks for the encouraging comments, I must admit that life is easier now without having to spend time describing daily happenings, surroundings and taking photos.

Nowhere has John said he's going anywhere. Maybe I'm reading it different but thought he was stopping the blog on this forum.
You can still read all about his exciting escapades by clicking on the link to his actual blog.
My thoughts were it was taking so much time doubling up on all the information.

I would think John would hope we all just move on and leave him to enjoy his life and he is still on line .
The last blog post.
