Would like to run a HDML lead from the dining room to the bedroom on our Sunliner MH. There is a TV coax in the cavity running to the rear but unsure what obstructions could be in the way??
Would anyone have any ideas ?
Thanks for all and any advice

Just a thought, maybe drill a very small hole first and put a torch up at the hole, if you can see light you would think it will be ok to drill the appropriate size hole.

Hi Bas. The problem is most cabling is pre-run prior to the exterior and interior cabling being put on RVs. This means, that unlike most homes, you cant necessarily use the existing cable as a draw wire to pull a new one through to replace it. Cabling is always run the shortest way to keep costs down.
I assume there is coax running from the bedroom outlet to the dining outlet?
If this is the case you may find that the existing cable will not simply pull through from one end as it is wrapped up around a window frame or frame strut.
Why don't you try a couple of RV repairers (hopefully you will strike a helpful one) and ask them for their advice and with no charge unless you elect to get them to do the job

That was my thoughts as I am sure there will be obstruction(s) along the way. Will take your advice and ask a van builder.
