I had a go at home brewing once. My brother came over one day & we knocked off 4 bottles between the 2 of us while enjoying a chat. He rang me from his home a few hours later to inquire if I had been farting a lot. As a matter of fact my backside had gone into overdrive. Something to do with secondary fermentation causing gas in our gut.

I came across a guy and his wife in a rest stop in the NT a couple of years back.
He had set up camp for a few days and was brewing up a storm. He was staying till he bottled it and then heading off.
I remember him well as at 9pm he was still running his generator until I switched it off.
If you use the stuff in the tins, you can have a brew up and bottled in about 6 days depending on the temperature.
