Next Wednesday could be an interesting day. As well as my usual chemo treatment, I also have appointment for my first scan since starting my treatment.
Looking forward to finding out just how much my abdominal snowman has melted.
I am also now on 2 weekly treatments instead of 3 weekly. Will make the time go quicker, hopefully.

Will be thinking of you on Wed. Marg. Same day I eventually have an appointment with oncologist & find out if I go back on same chemo routine or they make a change. I have missed 3 chemo sessions. May all go well for you. Alice

Good news. Results of scan came back showing my Abdominal Snowman has shrunk by half. Was originally 11 x 7.
Now 5&half x 3&half. Very very pleased with that result after just 3 chemo treatments.
Also the 2 small ones in my neck have gone completely and 2 others down somewhere near the kidneys that I knew nothing about have also gone.
Couldn't ask for better than that.
Alice how did your appointment go today. Have been thinking of you.

Second week in August I will be off to Sapphire quick smart Ken.
I have a lot to do when I get there. Renovate Princess Primrose, my caravan, build a shower, do a bit of gardening and dig a big hole.

Great news for you Marj. I'm to go back on chemo starting tomorrow. Same drug as before. Now that I am on a pill to keep heart under control they are happy to restart program Of course missing 3 chemo sessions (out of 30) means that 3 have to be added on at the end so 30 weeks becomes 33 weeks. We must get together in Hervey Bay soon for a cuppa & chat. Alice

Maybe next Friday Alice unless you come over to Hervey Bay on other days.
I have my niece and family up from Victoria over the next two days.
How well do you feel at the end of your treatment? Would you be up to a catch up on the same day.

Sure Marj. I feel ok after treatment but next Friday (24/6) my appointment is at 2.45pm so we could meet beforehand. If that suits me let me know & suggest a venue. Regards Alice

Either 12 or 1 pm. Which ever suits you Alice.
