We got rain, thunder & Lightning during the night (Maryborough) but fine so far today.

We are parked up at Watson Park (7 Day Adventist Convention Centre Dakabin) Brisbane. 140+mls or 5.6 inches in the old scale since very early this morning. We did have water in our ensuite from a wall vent that was facing the very heavy at times down pours.Some vanners decided to head inland based on the forecasts but there are still a dozen or so parked up here. We leave our van in storage at this location from tomorrow. $8 per week compared to privateers asking +$20/$30 per week. All secure behind boom gates. We fly out to Singapore from Brisbane before arriving in Amsterdam to start a 14 day River Cruise to Budapest. Some of the benefits/$ saving benefits of house sitting.

Parked at Bowenville Reserve. Strong winds, rain and black soil.
About 9-10 vans and a couple of hardy tenters.
Just sitting it out, ground very sticky, safe travels all.
