Day two so far so good. Up much earlier at 7.25am. Did the doggie thing again. (No Larry) walking the dog. A bowl of muesli, checked the emails. Checked the online banking (Hoping the Bank had added a few hundred grand extra by mistake.)
Waited till school zones ended and away we went on a drive down to the Northern side of the Hawksberry River bridge rest area / boat ramp.
Bugger the boats, its full of GN's van's going North. We counted 14 vans 2 motor homes and 1 camping trailer. Some taking a breather/ morning tea, after the stress of pasting through Sydneys morning traffic. Some still there from the night before. I have no idea how in hell they could sleep beside that freeway.
We turned around and a clear run home with a coffee stop + Pie, / pit stop. 92.5km in the Go Kark. (The Corolla).
Now back to the cave to fit the Sat King in the cupboard.

Sleeping beside a busy road etc is easy when you are retired Jim. Come to think of it, everything is easier.
I have slept beside busy roads etc many times now and all good. I find most of the noise slows to nearly nothing from 11.00 at night to around 5.00 in the morning. I have good ear plugs if needed though.

The boat ramp there is much lower than the road . The road noise isn't that bad . Plus you can latter park away from the road, past the boat ramp if you want ? In my case the noise comes from within .. Zzzz zzzz zzzzz. (OO) ..
