Talk about confusing, Just returned from a short trip to northern NSW. Diesel @ Lightning Ridge $1.129 less 4c @ Narrabri $1.097 @ Goondiwindi $1.129. Back in Brisbane where the competition keeps it cheap the odd servo is $1.129 mostly $1.189
Not complaning just bemused.
Mike.

On the news last night it was broadcast fuel is on the rise.
I suppose the coastal towns will be the first to put it up as they perhaps sell more
therefore deplete the cheap and buy the dearer to replace.

I think I have mention this fuel saga before.
We filled up at a stand alone servo at the one horse place of Colington on the way to Kingaroy in S.E. Qld.
His price for unleaded was $1.05 and when we arrive back home in Brisbane later that day and for the rest of the week City price was $1.29.
The servo manager said that they make no $$$ out of it at $1.05. Well if that was to be the case the servo in the city are making a killing at $1.29. Plus they are probably bu;lk buying compared to this little servo.
We are getting ripped of but the Government will do zip about it high price because they are making $$$$ on the percentage fuel tax,''
Say no more.
