Got this new toy in the mail today. It is so I can use the Baby Q with a gas bottle or quickly change to the bayonet fitting on the van without having to change the hose over. Easy.
Hey Doug I'm looking for one of those, can you point me in the right direction please.

Doug check the thread when it arrives before trying to screw it on your Q
I bought one of the braided hoses 2m to fit from bayonet on van to our Q and the thread didn't
match the thread on the Q. I sent it back and the replacement hose was the same.
I ended up going to BBQ's Galore and got the hose with the right connections and now all works fine
Off memory the right hose was $36.
Cheers
Vince

All good this end Vince. It is on the Weber Bayonet hose and all fits.
Thanks for the heads up though as some might get the wrong hose.
The new converter works a treat.

The fitting is here if you are having trouble finding it.
I see you can now buy it & pay pr it on ebay but collect it at any Woolworths or Big W. Convenient for some.

For my situation I have a bayonet fitting on my van for the bbq when we are away, when home I take the bayonet hose off the BabyQ and fit a standard hose to connect to the 'home' bottle.
With this fitting on the 'home' bottle I no longer have to change hoses.
Also, I have a gas heater (largish) at home that we don't use inside anymore now plan to run it in the patio from the gas bottle. I was going to have a gas line run to the patio terminating in a bayonet but this is a much cheaper option.

I've ordered one. Same reasoning as Delta 18.

Sorry Doug that's not what I was thinking you were buying.
After seeing it, great I'm getting one for the same reason you got it for.

But does that mean the gas goes through two regulators .

NO.
You use the bayonet hose direct from van to BBQ, the gas goes through the vans regulator on those bottles. If you want you can take of van, attach the converter and connect to a gas bottle instead and that gas goes through the converters regulator. Only one regulator at a time.
I have a Weber Baby Q that I will use it on when needed but there would be no reason why it wouldn't work on any gas BBQ.
My idea of getting it is so I can have the longer hose on the Q all the time, then I have a choice what to connect to without having to change hose over.

NO. It comes as one.
Edit......I have a female bayonet fitting fixed to the van. Reason for wanting the converter.
