I'm looking at the feasibility of attaching an SC500 wheelchair carrier to my 2009 Jayco Sterling. Has anybody tried this or have any advice?

Looks a bit big. May make your van that much longer and heavier in that you may need to pack your van differently rather than add ballast at the front. Seen a few of the fold up mobility scooters about that seem to attach or fit in small places. A neighbour has one that he can ride onto a plane. It folds up and is considered hand luggage. Just goes in the car boot when he goes shopping.
Try "fold up electric mobility scooters" in Google or Bing.

Tks for response. I agree but thought someone may have got around perceived problems.

Hi Big O
We are always looking at the same sort of things to make it easier for the wife who has limited mobility to get around when on the road .
I think that the size of this carrier may be to wide to add to the rear of your van and the extra weight may be a problem .
What vehicle do you have ?
We have a choice of two electric chairs one 4x4 and a normal electric chair depending where we go , which fit into the rear of our 100s Land-cruiser . I run it up a ramp and they just fit in .
Matter of fact we are leaving this coming Monday for four months and the normal chair is in the back ready to go. I have taken the bench seat out to balance the weight.
