Noticed in a SuperCheap Catalogue the above on special for $49.99 from the 18/5/16.
The item below could be the same unit, am not sure since I disposed of the catalogue, just check the weight range, item shown is 100Kg to 350Kg. I do not know how accurate they are, Before we had our vans ATM upgraded I used a weight Jack that could weigh each side of our tandem van, as well as the ball. It was not 100% accurate on the lower balls weight ie around 250Kg, but I had previously compared it with the known weights of a registered weigh bridge and knew what to allow for.
Only problem is this scale, like most, only starts at 100kg. My van has a ball weight of about 75kg and maxes out at 100kg. But it was worth getting so you know you have your van loaded evenly.

You could just use bathroom scales then, shows 100kg easily.

Tried an old set of bath scales and crushed them. Didn't spread load across the whole surface. Just as well I don't weight myself with my stilettos on.

Hey Peter. You hit the wrong keyboard key - its actually $79.99 on the link you have given above, not $49.99

The same piece of apparatus has been getting around for a few years under various brand names. We bought one about 3 years ago, it works fine for our ball weight of between 150-180kg. $49.99 is a good price, we paid around $70.

I have a problem with these so-called towball weight scales. Accuracy and usefulness after the first use.
Much cheaper to buy/use two bathroom scales. Yes, you can just use two scales and a plank of wood across the two to spread the load. Position under the jockey wheel and wind up, then combine the weights displayed.
Best of all you have a product you can use in the bathroom.
