Hi John
See you are changing your blog format for some reason, been following your travels since their inception, you are an inspiration to be doing what you do at your age.
Please don't change it too much as I love reading your weekly info. Keep up the good work, and safe travels into the future.

I still intend to maintain a travel blog with information about free camping locations that is how the blog started once I got on the road.
I have recently spent time in one location and the blog moved away from it's intended direction.
I will be on the road for a few months and hope to take the blog back with location reporting and less of the personal stuff.
I am currently camped at Ellenborough and will report on that experience later.
Thanks for the best wishes,
John

John,
I have watched your posts with interest since having my septic tank sucked out in 2011 in NZ and being pointed to this site by a man who can always get a seat on the bus and who does not bite his nails. Your early posts inspired me to jump the ditch and hit the road in Oz and I was surprised and happy to meet you at Dawson River in 2012. Since then I have travelled widely myself though I still have to go West and to Tassie. I often mention you to others who are thinking of hitting the road as an example to follow though I temper it with caution as, as you have found, not everything goes according to plan. Upsets make for great "war stories" though. I hope to keep reading your posts and maybe we will bump into each other again on the road.

Cheers
