Looking for a marker light for my caravan ,only ones i have found sofar are led and looking at them thy will take some alteration to holes and to get any thing to fit ,also thy come with 2 wires and thh old type only have one and i don't really feel like taking van to bits, some may say easy, any help will be great
David, You will note that your current style of light is earthed by attaching screw to frame of van, the single wire will be positive (12V DC). You should be able to utilise existing positive and use existing earth screw to attach any other style of light - Find any festoon globe light something similar in size to existing light body and redrill through back of fitting to utilise existing mount holes. Bob's your uncle, Mary's your aunt and Spot your dog.

Hello David, I had purchased some for our last van from caravan pro, just forward them the photo, they had also recommended the one with the black fitting as it had a higher uv rating.

Not long finished changing all my marker lights - front - side - rear to LED
I plugged all the old holes with silicon and as the new LED's covered them no problem
When fitting the new LED's I predrilled and when attaching I put silicon on the new holes too
Attache the positive wire (usually red) to your positive wire on the van
Attach the negative wire (usually black or white) to one of the screws used to attach the LED
All worked fine with the new replacements
I also fitted new LED Tail/Stop/Indicator lights on the rear, this took a bit more work with making new holders to accommodate the LED sets.
If you go down this track to change them, buy some spares at the same time incase you have trouble getting same if needed later.
