The Flinders Ranges is beautiful, amazing and I love how the ranges/ mountains changes colour during the times of the day. We are staying at the Parachilna Campgrounds near Prairie Hotel and my husband and I got casual jobs at he Hotel, Angorichina Village and plus managing the campground. If you visit say Hi to us.

Great pic's guys well done.
The Flinders Ranges in SA is one of my top places to visit.
We usually camp at Rawnsley Park Station and do day trips.
Must get over to see the restored Coffee Pot (train) at Quorn.
Keep the pic's coming.
Cheers, John

G'day, we had the same job as you back in 2012. Camped in front of the old school building. We moved the camp fire from near shade cloth camp kitchen (without the roof) to nearer the amenities block..
You took picture of the same train as we did.....
Say Hi to Jane and Ross from John and Lorraine (And Brodie, who still thinks it is 6 o'clock.)
Can't wait to see some more Lee-Ann. Great photos of a great area.
Cheers, Bob

Yes, your pics reminded me of our time at Wilpena Pound around this time last year. We were on our way to WA and side tracked our way up to the Flinders Ranges for a few days. We also enjoyed our time around Quorn.
Enjoy your stay and keep that "Jayco Flag " flying.

Thanks Dunnowin....we are having a great time here, the people are so friendly and I love the Flinders. We are staying here to end of October. I said Hi to Jane for you.
The coal train pic is the ever last train to Leigh Creek and back to Port Augusta. Leigh Creek mine has closed last year and Port August power plant will close next month.
