Need new tyres on the above and we are carrying just under 1 ton. Any suggestions?

have a DMax and use light truck wide profile tyres. Better wear than standard tyres, cheaper than off road type ones and will still get you through anything in 4x4 mode.
I'm in my 2nd set of tyres at 60K (1st set were those fitted by Isuzu but got slashed when parked and the 2nd set were paid for by Insurance - I just specified I wanted light truck. At full weight I'm carrying 3.5T.
Havent noticed any difference in road noise, handling, towing etc between the two different tyre makes

theyre Bridgestone Dueler A/T's.
Theres lots of debate on this site about the qualities and virtues of various tyre brands, but most come from China and various Asian countries like Thailand.
Appears none are made in Aust anymore and I think theres only one brand of tyres made in USA - which are now doubt pretty expensive.
When I buy my next set, I will probably go for the buy 3, get the 4th free deals that the major tyre retailers run nowadays. I'm sure it will upset the tyre purists, but most tyres are pretty much the same when in a particular category - in this case light truck
I got advice from my Isuzu dealer and two tyre retailers. When unloaded, I run my tyres at 40 psi.
With the 'van on, its 45 psi in the two rear ones. Likewise I run my van tyres at 45 psi based on the recommendation of the van maker and tyre retailers. Obviously I drop pressures if running on rough roads and the like
Now I will stand back and wait for the flak from the purists lol
