My chemo program has been set at every Friday for 30 weeks. Quite a long stretch & commitment. Have had 2 doses so far & feeling fine. Only problem where they put the cannula in vein in arm has left me with 2 large very black round (2 inches across) marks. Oh well, skin decorations! Cheers Alice

Hi alice, 2down and feeling ok, thats great. Yes it is a long stretch but strop is on his last one and we found going away for a few days here and there is helpful. Change of scenery, change of people and packng up and setting up leaves not much time to think about it. All the best. Love rocket n strop

Hi Alice, hang in there you will get into a routine and it will get somewhat easier. I'm 1/4 way through my chemo it finishes in September, like rocket said getting out and about helps a lot even if its just down to the local shopping centre for a cuppa and people watch.
Cheers bass

Thanks for good advice Bass. Today I went to "Sixtys & Better" & played canasta all day. That is a very relaxing day out for me. All the best to you Cheers.

How long does your treatment take on a Friday Alice?
I'm having my second treatment this Wednesday and will probably be a bit under the weather on Friday but thought the next week should be good if you are up to it too. Maybe Eli Waters Coffee Club as it is close by for both of us and easy to find.
Hope you are going ok and good to see you are getting out and about. It's taken me a while to get to that stage. Now I've started I want to keep it up.

Go girl ,give it heaps,my cook has just finished her chemo and started her radiation , she reckons once you get your head around it and accept that it's for the best it makes it a bit easier and it goes quicker.
I've got a lot of respect for people going thru this treatment, nearly all of the ones I've meet have got a good attitude towards treatment and the staff and volunteers are awesome.
Good luck with it and I hope you get the right outcome.
