Either WA or Victoria I think they are on par with each other. Someone once told me that Tassie was cheapest, but when you add the cost of getting a vehicle there to register it the savings would be lost IMHO.
My 7.1 Mt Transit Motorhome with V8 petrol costs around $750 a year in Queensland.

Have you tried google? Something like rego charges in WA (or each state).
Alternately, get their 1300 ph no and call them. It will cost you a local call and waiting time.
You will need to supply an address in each of the States as they don't register out of state vehicles as far as I am aware

There are some advantages in South Australia.
Rego can be renewed on line from anywhere (windscreen stickers still need to be used for vehicles over 4.5T).
A vehicle can also be left unregistered for any period, without penalty.
There are no annual inspections (but maybe required for the first registration in the State).
To have a registration you will need a "garaging address" for the vehicle in the State of registration. This need not be the same as your postal address, or even in the same State.
Cheers,
Peter

A quick google search for WA rego costs revealed this http://www.transport.wa.gov.au/licensing/license-a-caravan-or-camper-trailer.asp
Scroll down the page to see the fee's calculations. I'm sure other states would have similar calculators.

Is it certified as a motor home and plates as so or some hybrid conversion Lot of conversion don't pass the acid test for rego discounts in a lot of states especially NSW . Even it does have all the plates don't do it in NSW unless you win Saturday Lotto or Power Ball

If you have your RV registered in Queensland this is something to keep in mind. In Queensland we have free ambulance cover and if we are interstate and have to use the facilities of an ambulance then you are covered just the same as if you were in Queensland.

The rego on vehicles in WA will go up by $99 from 1 July this year to cover serious injuries from motor accidents. Currently you have no insurance unless you can prove fault by a 3rd party. From July, there will be no fault - you will be covered by the rego insurance (the same as most other states)
