KJ, what an interesting gift.. Hope it doesn't make the van too heavy and you have to drink half of it before you go.

Hi Lynda,
Your just envious, Our Daughter gave me a bottle of Penfolds red in a timber box for my birthday gone. Happy days. Correct that. Hour at most. I'm worried about evaporation of contents.

Jim,
Of cause I'm envious. Solve the evaporation problem, forget food in the fridge, just put in the 24 bottles.

Thanks for the good advice People, Yes I may have to lighten the load before we go,
I thought there may have been a couple of hands, waving frantically with offers to give me a hand LOL

If you don't like Sauvy Blanc - I'll help you out - hehe!
I have forwarded the contents of your post to my FIVE daughters in the hope they will be as may be forthcoming when assisting with my requirements when I set sail later this year.
Well the best of luck Morrey, So in theory you should be on the receiving end of 120 bottles of Wine,
you'll have to let us know when it all arrives, but you will also have to watch out for some of the Members on this Forum,
there seems to be a few around who have a taste for the Good Grape

Oh, that's a scream of a page. What a shame I can't join you in "lightening the load". I'm a teetotaler. Alcohol and me are a bad mix!

Thanks K.J. I think my supplies will be safe as the approximate time for my setup and departure coincides with the departure of all the winter temporary Townsvillians. However all our problems with purchase and storage would be solved if.............
The Daughter called around home the other day, we happened to mention that we were thinking of buying some Wine for our up-coming trip into the North,
The next thing we knew was that we received a shipment of 24 bottles of every kind of Wine, plus Champagne, Port and Brandy.

I think our Happy Hour is well covered now, Thanks to the kids, I wonder if it's a hint to stay away a little longer ??
