So ?? Does this mean what ? His guitar playing is not the issue is it?
He is dead and many others who have also died, do not get the accolades for far more benefit to society than he has.
So who cares ? He has had his moment in the sun, but there are many more who never get the eulogies for achieving a real impact, which shows where our real values lie. Entertainment and popularity are seen as more important than those who actually make and contribute to the betterment of those who need more than just a guitar player....why does the media make such a big deal about the death of a guitar player yet ignores those who have died and made a real difference to how we ought to be...
Sorry, but I just get so tired of the way we remember and eulogise entertainers and neglect those who really help, rather than those who need more than a feel good message which only lasts as long as the last track or song.....
I wish I could explain how shallow this fake regret for an entrainer comes across, when we see what is really necessary.

Well don't bloody read it if you feel that way about it.... If you feel the need to have your little rant, feel free to start another thread. Maybe the reason such a big deal is made, is that he has certainly made an impact on the music world, whether you are a fan or not.
Geez.. go and take your pills....

The issue is not that he has made an impact in n music, it is that he is made out to be something he is not !
But then I am not an Agent of satan and may not know what the real agenda is ???

You won't find any of princes music in my collection, but the man composed hundreds of great songs, played the piano at six years Of age, Eric Clapton admired prince for his guitar playing, and yet he was mostly known for his vocals.
On his first three albums he played all the instruments himself , he sang all the vocals so give the man his due
He was a musical genius, Elvis, Bowie,Lennon, ect were icons even though most of them ended there lives lets say unnaturally.
But there music made them special to untold millions of people .
