We have 1/4 bills sent to email and pay over the phone . Turn electric hot water off if it's elect ? Possibly the same for gas ? Car or vehicle serviced. Double checking any small oil / coolant leaks which could fester down the track .. If your out of state of NSW when rego is due ? You have to go to an approved mechanic, sent proof of inspection to RTA . PAY and your done . Oh yes take your good camera with you . Don't rely on smartphone for good pistance pics .,

Good idea re camera. I will touch base with ACT rego as well to see what they want to do. There is no need for a yearly check in the ACT.
I will get my agent to handle the bills. Hopefully with the rental, everything will be transferred into the renters name.
I just need to also check with the body corporate as the bc fees look after house insurance and water usage. Contents insurance and water connection fees are up to the owners/renters. I guess liaison with the rental agent on these topics might be the go as well.

You mentioned Passport - Take it with you for two reasons
1. Primary Identification for any unforseen Legal matters
2. If going to WA and visiting Hutt River Provence - You can have passport stamped as it is legally another Country, well worth the trip.
Tetanus, Flu (4 in 1), Hep C, Whooping cough jabs for yourself.

Foot in mouth again lol .. Most have serpentine belts now . Make sure you know what pulleys the belt goes around . Good Jack, wheel brace , wheel chock , compressor and emergency tyre kit.. But keep weight low . Lol ohh yes # 1 ., toilet paper !! Or you need matches to clean your finger nails ..

Tyre repair kit and compressor and tyre changing gear already on the list, as is the first aid kit. Toilet paper - a given as there might not always be a handy bark tree around.

I don't drink either, but I'm of the general opinion that with some out there, beer and or wine has priority over food when it comes to happy hour.

Last week quick trip to Sydney, set GPS for "No Tolls", great.... trip to destination 38 Km, time mid Friday morning, travel time a quick two and a half hours. Next time I'll still do it this way cause I hate tolls.
