Hi Nuk, Duck into SuperCheap and pick up some CT18. Called a Truck Wash but is great for everything. After our last trip I used it to clean the van, hoses, mat, chairs, the works! Comes in a concentrate, I then mix the recommended amount with water in a weed sprayer and go to work. They say that it is OK to leave it on overnight and just hose off but I find I still have to broom it over to shift heavy grime. Just hosing off isn't that good. Cheers, Brownie

Brownie I used to use CT18 but found it very corrosive if left on. It even rotted out the spraypack because it was left in it for a week. The plastic just dissolved. I changed to the CT 20 which is a wax wash and much less corrosive. Same manufacturer.

Sounds good. Thanks for the info. No sign of corrosion this end with the CT18 but I'll give the CT20 a go when I next have to buy some. Cheers, Bob
PS. It was a mate who put me onto the CT18 and he has been using it for years with no detrimental effects. Just spoke to him on the phone.
I would add that it is probably critical not to have the concentration too high.

I have been using Meguires for years and was told by a large Jayco dealer that it will not harm the finish on either fibreglass or alluminium vans, its available at a wide range of auto accessories stores.

Hi AussieTraveller
My problem is all the motor accessory outlets I have tried, Repco, Autobarn and Supercheap look at me strangely when I ask for it, no we don't carry it, haven't heard about a marine wash and so on, i was hoping someone could tell me where I can buy the marine wash from? Watsons caravans don't sell it now either I tried them on the weekend, they used to as this is the place we first got the wash from.
Thanks
Nuk

Have you tried a marine chandler? I would not expect auto accessories places to stock specialised marine products.
The answers given above have little value as they did not state whether the products mentioned were used on aluminium or fibreglass vans. Would the respondents please complete their replies by stating what vans the products were used on.
Nuk, what van do you propose to use the product on.

Hi
Thanks for all the replies.
I have a Jurgens Lunagazer.
I have been told this product doesn't dull the finish on the van?
Cheers
