Planning a trip on Anzac day weekend to Teddington reservoir .. not sure about current water levels ... anyone else recommend this free site ? Few free sites in area will also check out .. mountain creek near Moonambel .............. waterfalls camping area near Avoca ...... Waanyarra rec reserve .

Gday...
A good part of Victoria to visit. Here are some comments I made from my visits -
Goldenyears,
Waterfalls around this area dried up quiet a long time ago, the area is very dry, there are a lot of nice walks up in the hills if you are reasonably fit.
Also there are a lot of historic places to see.
Pomme.

We've been to Teddington several times, nice when it's quiet but very popular at holiday periods. The last time we were there the Victorian Rogaining Association had an event on & it was packed. The toilets couldn't cope & were overflowing with faeces. We've also been to Waanyarra, full of semi-permanent fossickers that look at you with unfriendly suspicion as you drive in. We drove straight out as it's an ugly, uneven, potholed & un-vegetated mess. We love Kooyoora State Park not too far away, two lovely camps one very popular at Melville Caves the other accessed off the Calder Hwy at Glenalbyn very quiet.
