Came across this site when looking for something entirely different but as we are all members of the travelling public thought I'd mention it.
Now, if you are in an unfamiliar town and you need to go to the loo, just check out this site and it will literally tell you where to go. No kidding.
Or if planning a road trip just type in your departure point and your destination and it will tell you where the public toilets are along your route as well as give you directions on where to find them, what distances they are apart and opening hours. There is also a map to follow.
Now what I want to know is - have you ever heard of this site or used it? Or will you check it out now that you know about it? No I don't need to know that. But seriously, the site is there if you need it.
Would you believe this toilet map is handed out to chemo patients (with all their other info) as they suppose one of the side effects of chemo is the need to find a loo in a hurry!! Alice

There is also the ability to load it on some GPS (Garmin). It's on a POI (points of interest) site. I find in brilliant planning a trip when not towing your own loo.
Having an inbuilt GPS in your vehicle is nowhere nears as good as attaching a GPS to a PC and loading & planning trips.

thanks for that info, it will certainly come in useful. On our recent trip through WA i did find in most of the tourist centres a map of (little booklet type publication ) showing all the major routes and what is at all the roadside stops ( and freecamps) but havent found anything like it in other states

I clicked on the link and went to bookmark it, only to see that I already had ... so thanks for the reminder, will have to sift through all of the bookmarks I've collected over the past few years so I don't go searching for something I already have!

There is also a free app called Just in Time that has all the toilets on it.
