I was wanting to put running boards on our 2014 Grand Cherokee as the captain is a bit short.
Has anyone fitted any OEM boards and or have any feedback or suggestion on a good set to fit?

Hi, I fitted a set bought on EBay for about $350, easy to fit, I would in hindsight not fit them, as they make getting out a pain in the butt, you have to reach out over the step. Not comfortable, I was talked into fitting them by a mate.

This has nothing to do with running boards, but I am too short to get into the front of our motorhome so my husband made me a wooden step with a long rope handle which I place in easy reach when I get out the van. When I return to the vehicle I just place the step on the ground, hook the handle inside the vehicle, step up into the vehicle and pull the step up using the rope handle and put it away till next time. Problem solved.

Hi
Thanks for your reply, do you remember the brand or the link or site you bought them from, I have been looking on EBAY and there are so many.
Cheers

Hi Nuk, we too have a Jeep GC and I had running boards fitted when we brought it and given my time again I would do exactly the same. They look good and are very functional. Go for it.
