I am going there in a couple of months and have chosen Walkmans Beach. Not CP but small fee. I would check on WIKICAMPS but it is down at the moment.

We stayed at the CP right on the beach. It was just beautiful and worth the money. The other camping areas are inland. The CP has a nice restaurant/cafe and was nice to go there for our last night.

Thought it was OK to leave the washing on the line overnight.
Wrong!!
Next morning, the washing was still there, pegged onto the line, but some sod had replaced our plastic clothes pegs with crappy old wooden pegs.
At least the washing wasn't lying on the ground.
New one on me - swapping clothes pegs!!

Hi Alpal, I think there is only one park in 1770 that takes dogs. Was last time we were there last June. Not sure of the name, could've been Capt. Cook?. It's on the right hand side just before you get to 1770. Nice park.

Here is the map for all parks. The only one that does not take dogs is the 1770 Campground. Click on the pins for more info.

The one I like is The Reef Caravan Park
