I'm wondering if someone could suggest an acceptable way of having our mail forwarded and what others do.
i had thought of having a family member forward on through the post to a post office but have heated that mail isn't held for very long.
Can anyone provide any other options
Many thanks Evnles

Welcome to the gang Evnles, enjoy here and out in the playground.
What I can't get through on line i.e. email, I have sent to my daughters place and she lets me know then I have her send it to a Post Office of my choice. I leave her with prepaid express post packs, so no cost to her. The only thing I really get now is if Centerlink wont send by email. " Mygov " does everything now except deliver the Pention or Healthcare cards. If I need to prove to anyone, again, that is only Centerlink that I don't live there I do a Stat Dec. They are happy with that.
Go talk to AEO about elections etc and you can be listed as " a person of no fixed address " that way if you find yourself in a remote area you wont get fined for not voting.
Keep Safe on the roads.

Thank you Dougwe,
your reply has been most helpful and I will certainly look into the electrol suggestion.
I guess my main concern with forwarding mail to a particular post office is IVe head they don't hold your mail for very long.
Im not sure of how long between towns at this stage.
i took your advice and contacted the AEO. So all good in that regard.
Kind regards Evnles

No problem Evan. I get my daughter to print in big letters on front of envelope " PLEASE HOLD FOR COLLECTION " has worked well so far. I have never needed to be any longer than 2 weeks before picking up the mail. I even get suppliers of any goods I might have ordered on-line to mark the same.
Feel free to PM if you prefer.

Besides the Centrelink cards where you need the original cards, do you have someone that can open, scan and email the rest of your mail. Just a thought.
