I'd be tossing it well before next year, or handing it back for a full refund straight away, if it proves to be as dangerous as the warning says Bushpie,

Dunno know why you can't see the original graphic, Hako
Hopefully you can access the website for the recall -
I assume most (all?) can now "see" the above website???
Here's the "photo" - which is within the above website. Hopefully this is now visible to all.

Well, it's got me ?????
I have tried and tried to post the picture, I copied it from my picture files and posted it in the usual way,
the picture appeared o.k. and was there when I last checked it,
Now it's vanished again !!!!
"ALRIGHT, WHO'S BEING A CLEAVER BUGGER "
This happened to me once before so I wrote to Cindy , who said that she would contact the forum controllers and ask them, I am still waiting for a reply
Anyone with a useful answer ? I would sure like to hear it ????

Even if this photo exists on the ABB forum, you cannot see it unless you are logged in to that forum. I'm betting that if you log in to both forums, the photo will then appear in your GN thread, but only you will see it. That's why it was there one day and gone the next, ie you were logged in to both forums at the same time one day and not the next.

Thanks for all the research dorian,
Now can you explain why the picture still disappeared when I copied it direct from my personal picture files to this Forum ?
Yes, I had copied it from Aussie Baby Boomers Forum and pasted it into my own pictures in the first place, would that be the cause of the disappearance ?

What do you mean by copy and paste? Did you copy the link to the photo, or did you upload the photo as an attachment?
Have you tried editing your opening post in the manner I described? That should solve your problem.

G'day dorian, I've been having all sorts of problems here with this Stupid Computer lately,
I only received your message a couple of minutes ago,
To answer your questions first, As you know, the picture was published on the other Forum, I simply right clicked on that picture, hit the copy button, then transferred the picture to my pictures file, I then copied that picture to this page.
No, at this stage I haven't worried about trying to fix the original picture as yet, I will try and sort out this damn 6 year old idiot box first.
Thanks for your help anyway, Cheers ,

Jim, firstly if you wish to include a picture you should not use the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of the thread (I don't know if you used this or not but I am including it for a complete answer.)
When you click on the "Quote" or the "Reply" button you will get a text entry box with some menu items at the top and a "Attach File(s)" button at the bottom. You use this button to initiate the insertion of your picture. When you click on it you will be presented with a file explorer pop-up. You search for your picture (file,) click on it and then click on the "Open" button. You will then see some action happening at the bottom, when this comes to rest you click on the "[Insert]" link. Another box will pop-up and you click on OK. The picture will then be placed where the cursor is in your message.

@kiwijims, I've turned a lot of things off in my browser, so a web page doesn't always display in the same way for me as it does for others. Maybe that's why I can't understand what you are doing, and why you don't understand what I'm doing. BTW, I should have said that I did my editing under the HTML tab rather than the Visual tab (default). Maybe that's your problem.
One other interesting thing I found was that our avatars share a common database with all the other activeboard forums.

It's not just you hako, I couldn't see it either. The link works though - cheers.

Sorry about that Picture disappearing People,
I hope you can all see it now ?????

The link to your picture is ...
http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/download.spark?ID=1879504&aBID=51933
... whereas your post is linking to ...
http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/download.spark?ID=1879504&aBID=134522
I can see the former but not the latter. I don't understand why this is happening.
Edit: When you edit your post (or insert the picture), do you see "aBID=134522"? If so, then change it to "aBID=51933".

Hmmm ... wrong forum ???

Even curiouser ...
http://abb.activeboard.com/index.spark?aBID=51933&p=1
... and curiouser still ...

I think I've worked it out.
The "aBID" identifies a particular forum that is served by activeboard.com.
aBID=134522 is Australian Baby Boomers
aBID=51933 is Grey Nomads
The reason that the photo is invisible in the GN forum is because its link is pointing to photo #1879504 on the Australian Baby Boomers forum:
http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/download.spark?ID=1879504&aBID=134522

One other interesting thing I found was that our avatars share a common database with all the other activeboard forums.
For example, this is the link to my avatar:
http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/avatar?id=1601399&m=75&t=1460161681
These shorter links serve up the same avatar ...
http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/avatar?id=1601399&m=75
http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/avatar?id=1601399
... as does ...
http://abb.activeboard.com/avatar?id=1601399&m=75&t=1460161681
... even though I am not a member at the ABB forum.
Even a fictitious forum serves up my avatar:
