i am changing my stop, tail and indicator lighting to led. Can someone help me with the wiring setup to use. I have 5 wires from the original lights and 4 wires from the LED panel. Has anyone got a 12 wiring diagram of the van. Thanks for your help

The 5 wires are stop, tail, LH binker, RH blinker and earth the new lights only need 4 wires as each uses a separate blinker circuit. Test each wire in the motorhome loom with a test light to determine what each is for. Also you may encounter problems with flash rate on the new indicators because the lower current draw with them may not operate the flasher controller correctly.

Generally, the wiring colour code is:
White = Ground
Red = Stop Light
Brown = Tail Light
Green = Right Blinker
Yellow = Left Blinker

I think that you can get a special flasher unit designed for use with LEDs ... 'Only' $50 at Repco, but I think much cheaper at and good Auto Electrician.
(I know from experience, as my Patrol's flashers recently went on the blink so to speak. I got a flasher from Repco at Caloundra & that didn't fix it. I saw the LED ones on the shelf. Off to a local Auto Elec & he diagnosed the fault & put in the correct flasher all for $25. Repco kindly refunded my $50 which was a win too.)
