Sorry to be so late in congratulating Jules in passing the magical 10,000 post milestone. As most of you will already know, Jules an amazingly joyous and positive force on this forum and as one of its most longstanding members, has helped to shape its unique and - I hope special - character. Those 10,000 posts will have helped inspire, encourage and assist many, many travellers, and brought a smile to thousands of you. On a personal note, I would like to thank Jules for the honesty, integrity and understanding she has shown me over the years. Her contributions to the forum cannot help but show her irrepressible zest for life and her wonderful sense of humour. And like all of you, I hope she will continue to share those qualities with us for many more kilometres - and years - to come. I'd be delighted to send Jules a new grey nomad shirt as a token of my appreciation. And, I would also like to take this opportunity to offer her the title - if she will accept it - of ... The Happy Helper (because that is exactly what she is). Many congratulations Jules and many, many thanks. Cindy

Hey Jules Congrats. You have got a gong. Does that mean I have to bow and address you as Lady Julie?
Of course being The Happy Helper, you would help me up when I fall over from Bowing.

Thank you Cindy for your lovely words - I do what I do, because I love talking to people, finding out about new places, and finding new ones for us to explore as well. I admire the job you do Cindy, it is full on I would think, I used to run an office, don't think I could do it now, keep meaning to start a blog - just too busy doing not much at all.
I would love to be titled "The Happy Helper" - I may even find a new avatar to go with the name!!! I would also love the grey shirt - more my colour than pink -thank you - I will pm you the size - not putting my enviable dimensions out there!!!!
I have met so many really good friends on this forum - as those who know me already know - love them all, every one of them - have a ball when we get together. I often wonder how my life would have turned out if I hadn't found the forum when I did. For those who don't know, my husband had died, I towed our small caravan a couple of places, but it didn't feel right. So I sold the van, kept the 4WD, intending to trade it in on a motorhome, but a couple of things happened, and I didn't get around to it.
Then a knight in shining armour (or with a shining head at least) came galloping my way - I climbed on board and have never regretted a day of it! Four years ago now.
Thank you all who have sent greetings my heartfelt appreciation- and Mel - I'm getting used to helping you up - hahahaha!
That's my rant for the night - see ya on the forum!
Jules is so very helpful in real life as well on the forum. Julie and Billeeeeeee have helped me out on more than one occasion. Particularly at Waruma Dam last year when I had appendicitis. They organised everything in the middle of the night. They also became adoptive parents to Molly while I was in hospital. Thankyou Julie & Billeeeeeee.

Can't agree more Molly, I had the privilege of meeting Jules and Billeeeeeee a couple of weeks ago, and wow what great people. They made Shas and I feel so welcome. "The happy helper" is a befitting title for such a lovely lady. The world needs more people like Jules and Billeeee. Safe travels guy's catch up again soon. Cheers Greg and Shas.
