They have to get in front of the Motorhome. We get it all the time, they must think I will drive slow when in fact I sit on all speed limlits

You must realize that people have very busy lives these days looking at their online status with Twitter, Facebook & You-tube while they're driving. YOU must make allowances for these IDIOTS & drive more carefully! The World's gone completely MAD in our opinion. The more time that we spend away in remote bush areas, surrounded by nature, away from city stupidity the better we feel!

You often don't even have to be in an RV to experience maniac drivers intent on doing injury/damage to others !!
We are staying down a country no exit road which runs off a fairly busy road.
Everytime I make a left or right turn down it, I have the indicator going and lightly touch the brake pedal so that those following get plenty of advance warning that we are turning off the busier road, but often I watch them still coming at the rear of us and not slowing at all - as DD says - too busy on the phone or tablet to be looking at whats happening around them.
Today we were on a busy main road and stopped at a red traffic light. A car pulled up beside us with 2-3 youngs kids (not belted in) and a male driver and female front seat passenger were turned side on to each other and punching each other having a serious domestic. At the next right turn road, I got away from them !!
And Nomads (especially the mature ones) get bagged by some idiot reporters and journalists for our alleged bad driving !! Jeeezzz........

Yes it's very prevalent especially so as we drive a Landcruiser ute (read big and slow concept) and they try to beat us.
Not as prevalent when we drive our buz box(Echo).
So maybe size doesn't matter after all,,,lol.

My Father taught me at an early age, there is no such thing as "I did not have time to do such & such!",
"Son", he said, "There are 24 hours in the day for all of us and it is a matter of how we use them".
What really annoys me these days we illuminated signs on highways, in Queensland at least, saying, "So Many Minutes to So & So",
Since when has distance been measured in TIME????.
No wonder we have so many crashes.

Every time we approach Melbourne after being away in the bush for a few weeks with our caravan the city traffic feels a bit like dodgem cars or slot car racing. Everyone's in a hurry, cutting each other off, changing lanes frantically, texting while driving & abusing each other. WHY IS EVERYONE IN SUCH A BLOODY HURRY?

I think it also comes down to the fact that, they can't see ahead of trucks, Rv's, And vans. So if they over take you, and your sitting on the speed limit. They get to see the road ahead without the blockout. Just my two bobs worth.

To be honest I find that bad drivers don't really bother me - I fully expect to see some of it every time on the road and when it happens it really does not register except for the moment. Allowing them to affect you just ruins the trip so I just accept it. Nothing you can do will change it. The bloke who taught me how to drive back in the 50's said the sign of a good driver was one who never needed to use his horn.
It's no different to shopping in a supermarket with a trolley weaving in and out the aisles and then watching people try to beat you to the checkout.

Youre quite right Hako - I don't think many of us brood over other drivers we consider to be bad - otherwise most of us wouldn't be out there on the road with our RVs :) Its just the danger they present at the time to you and yours, them and theres and others in the vicinity.
As for supermarket trolleys - I find the guys are usually worse than the girls as far as stopping in the middle of isles while they ponder which tomato sauce to buy or aggressively cut in front of you or race to the checkouts - maybe a case of road users and trolley users ????
