I was in Nyah yesterday on the way to Greens and went to use the dump point in the rec ground, some grub ( may words can be used for them) put a portable loo bag full of you know what into the top of the dump and left it. I doubt anyone not in a protective suit will touch this as I wouldn't. Why can't people do the right thing when something is supplied by the town for free.

what gets me is not the extreme you experienced, but the many nomads (many older) who empty their loo down the huge hole and still manage to spill toilet paper and "other stuff" all over the concrete apron and then don't bother to wash to off with the hose often supplied and leave it clean - I wonder how they feel when they find a dump point in a filthy condition?

It's not uncommon for campers who use the plastic bag portable loo to dump the full plastic bag in normal rubbish bins located in the main streets of towns - lets face it, what else can you do with it?
And where do disposable nappies go? They could dump the bag in the dump point hole but imagine what the plastic bag would do to the septic. Same with those doggie bags that people use to pick up their dog's crap - straight into the rubbish bin.
Dunno what the answer is or maybe it's OK to do this?

Good Luck.
