Bugger...... I certainly hope you recover quickly without any complications as spinal problems can put a dampener on enjoying any physical activities.
The fitter slimmer and trimmer bit sounds good...... me on the other hand have managed to put on 6 Kg since moving into the van and go up one size in waistband.

I have always had weight issues . In Nov last year I finally had a sleeve operation . I always felt hungry . Now 2 chicken wings half a cooked carrot and a few beans is well enough . I've lost 35kg. Since November . I was 18 when I was this weight playing rugby.. Yes I'm up at 4.30am saying just be careful out here in this great outback . So easy to hurt yourself .. At age it could effect your life big time ..

I bet you look nothing like your photo now. Well done on the weight loss. I've also been a regular at the gym and have lost 8 kgs since last October. Slow but sure and all through walking on the treadmill. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Blair

Great AK. As a mater of interest, why the sleeve and not a lap band?

Know people with lap band . There's ways around it . The sleeve is a life style change . No way can you eat like I used to .. Even drinking fizzy drinks, beer etc .. I drink pear cider now . Only one or two on hot days . Can't drink too much driving a MR licenced motor home .. A few twitches today .. Seems I'll be fine ? A few bruises . But ha .. Toughen up .. Lol better beach south of Whyella with sand .
