Found this when looking for an odometer app for my redundant iPhone - it's exactly what I wanted: dual trip meters, no speedometer to get in the way and BIG numbers easily read at a glance. Values are retained when the app is closed. Displaying distance travelled to 2 decimal places (10 metres) is probably a little overkill but at least it showed how accurate it was - it was spot on over two of three speedo checks along the Cunningham/New England Highways over the past few days and only a decimal point out over 5 kms on the other. Costs $1.49 from the App Store (details at: https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/trackpal-tripmeter-odometer/id1006456044?mt=8). Don't know if there's an Android version.

There is more to getting around without a motor than just walking or running.
