fatdog at 17 was not well....but today whilst we were camped at Reeves Beach he decided to walk into the surf.
I can say this was an intentional act as he has always avoided water.
A good and loyal mate......will be missed....but will continue the journey.

Thank you all for your kind words......doesn't seem right to be putting him in a hole whilst I continue my travels so am having him cremated, so it shall continue to be....

So sorry to read you have lost your loyal friend Fatdog. I recently lost my precious girl, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss her. You were so lucky to have Fatdog for such a long time! I'm sure you will have made many happy memories together. I has my girl cremated too so she will be with me always. Our wonderful, precious dogs...they leave footprints on our hearts. Rest peacefully Fatdog.
