Have just logged in and noticed that today's first post in General Forum is at 1:45pm. Prior to that there are just four posts from yesterday (24th) and only one displayed for the 23rd. I noticed last night that there were only two posts for the 23rd and around the average number for the 24th up to that point (about 9pm or so). Is it just me - I've logged out, closed the browser (Firefox), re-opened it and it's still the same, also tried IE with identical result; even logged in on another computer but no joy there either. Anybody else affected?
Cheers
Joe

Hi Joe :)
Youre more observant than most of us lol
How about sending Cindy a PM so she can have a look and see whats going on......there have been a few problems with the Server recently, apparently (it is owned and run by a 3rd party)

Hi Bruce
Yes, will PM Cindy tomorrow if it's still the same - was just wondering if anybody else had noticed the same thing before I pass it on to Cindy. I'm only observant as I generally hit the sack around midnight, so that's my starting point when I look for new posts the following evening.
Cheers
Joe

Disappearing posts is the answer....... thank God for that....... I thought I had lost the plot.
No wonder I can't find the post I commented on to see if there were any additional posts.

You must mean, bring in a consultancy team.
There must be a sub committee as well and they must have gourmet sangas at all times on the table while meeting.

Hi everyone, This seems like a very mysterious problem. I'm not sure what is going on ... sometimes software upgrades that are implemented by our forum hosts cause issues. If you have posted something that has disappeared, can you please let me know by PM or email (editorial@thegreynomads.com.au) what string you posted it on and when you posted it? Once I have some details from members who have been affected, I will contact Sparklit to see if they can restore the posts and stop this from happening again.
