I will be in Busselton in early July this year. Yes I know it is in the WA School holidays and likely to be busy. Can any one recommend a caravan park to stay at. Preferably not filled with school kids and not one filled with as I call them ferals that believe what you own should be theirs. Thanks. Also is any one able to turn my avatar up the right way?

I think you are preempting time in a caravan park at school holidays with you inverted picture.
Busselton in July is probably not going to be too bad due to winter, not good for beach.

We stayed at the Amblin C P a few years ago. The setting and favilities were good and the service friendly. When we booked in they asked how long we were staying. Said I wasn't sure but 3 or 4 days. They said that's ok pay as you leave. Never happened before or since

Avatar is still upside down, I would say that you are the only one that can fix your avatar as you have to do it in your profile. Why dont you turn the original photo upside down the re-upload as avatar. If you use windows phto viewer you can rotate the picture. If you can't rotate the picture in Photo Viewer, right click the photo, select properties properties, untick the read only box then select OK
One place NOT to stay is Mandalay, apparently one of the most expensive caravan parks

Re avatar. Did all that on iPad, didn't work. I'll try it at work tomorrow on my PC there. Thanks all for the feedback, wife and I are researching them all.

Hi rgren2,
we live in Busselton and there are quite a few options available and prices to match. Kookaburra CP is right in town and is a easy walk to beach and jetty. Mandalay CP , Beachlands CP and Amberlin CP are all really nice parks with great ammenities not to far from town centre but are a bit pricey. Then about half way between Busselton and Dunsborough there are several campsites right on the beach and are reasonably priced. There are a few others but these would be my first picks.

Great thanks for the info, now have avatar up the correct way. Ipad wouldn't do it but Dell to the rescue. Will show the wife the parks tonight before we go out to celebrate our 39th Wedding anniversary.

We stayed at Busselton and found out there is a strange quirk for the van parks there, apparently there is a possum that only eats leaves from a certain tree, so they can't prune the trees. The park was a mess. We moved to the Kookaburra, a great park complete with cable TV to your van. Central and nice.

If you don't necessarily need power or water, look at "CaravanOvernightFarmStay" - there is a farm stay 12k from Busselton - $5 night - no facilities, but a great safe place, and only five minutes into town. Think this one is under Wastell.
