Shock jock Steve Price has rushed to defend Cardinal George Pell after Aussie composer Tim Minchin released a scathing charity single in support of a campaign to force the clergyman to testify before a Royal Commission.

It's not too long ago that Pell was well enough to fly over toRome. He got prett sick in a hurry, didn't he ?
Personally, I think the song is GREAT !!!!.
Cheers,
Sheba.

I am a big fan of Tim Minchin and I think his new song about George Pell is great!! Very clever and (in my opinion) an accurate assessment.

the medical letter saying the good Cardinal was too ill to attend came from a specialist who attends to all the other geriatric priesthood at the Vatican.
I'm sure he will be ok in 1st class (where he would be, even if well) with some stopovers en route to rest up
Seems odd to me that he suddenly gets moved to H/O as the financial Boss immediately after he first preformed poorly at the Royal Commission - coindcidence ????

I heard it yesterday morning (early) on the ABC. It is a classic. A very clever man.

I think the Vatican has it's own airliner. George could come out if he really is committed to the process. But hey "the doctor said NO".
