Bunyip Recreation Reserve - Longwarry Road, Bunyip. Great spot, $15 night Power and water, grassed area, toilets, showers, walk to the shops (IGA, chemist etc.,) railway station with regular country trains to the City, been about 20 or so camped here this week. OK for big rigs.
Easy to get to from the western side of Melbourne - just follow the Monash Freeway, goes all the way past Pakenham, then the highway to the Bunyip sign.
Recommend it, we will be back.

It's not a bad town at all - and Warragul is about 18 or so k's away, as is Pakenham for the bigger shops. Poor Billeeeeeee doesn't have time for one nap some days!!!!!

another good overnight stop is at the Bunyip Cemetary - not far off the highway - large off road parking and very quiet

Am currently at the Bunyip Rec. Park for 3 nights. It's been a delight staying here. The trains are a little annoying though.

When we were there, we didn't really notice the trains, except for one that went through every night - very loud horn. But nothing could be worse than a caravan park in Hughenden QLD - they shunt carriages in the early hours of the morning, just across the road - I thought we were being invaded by aliens when I first heard it!!!!!
