am not sure if this is the correct way to do this but here goes , have just joined this wonderful site and thank you for having us on board , as i am new to all this travelling life style and am a novice , do not have a motor home or caravan , we are going to be travelling with a camper trailer , and overnight stays will be tenting it , and we have had a couple of practice runs and all went well so am sure all will be good and that things will be improved as we go along , we are spreading our wings just a little more this time and going to be on the road for about 5 weeks and we will be travelling from a little place called widgee starting on the first of march , looking to stop at Goodniwindi , Coonabarraban , Dubbo , Tamworth , Woolgoolga , Tenterfield then home so if any one has some insite's on the best places to stay on the way and things to see it would be greatly appreciated regards from the widgeewoodduck and partner .

Hi that a hard question to answer fully , my advice would be to get the Wikicamp App is you have the required phone or Ipad and maybe buy Camps 8 , It will tell all you need to know , Things like you can camp in all sort of locations

Chaffey dam is 40 minutes from Tamworth. Donations with hot showers, toilets and a dump point. Great for a few days to explore the area. If you would like to message me when you hit Tamworth, maybe we could catch up for a coffee.

Suggest you google each of the local councils in your list of places to visit and check out their tourist info - we usually find pretty good details about local attractions that way.
Safe travels.
