If it is a portable unit such as Engel it will self select 240 if available. If its a caravan fixed type of fridge & You select the wrong voltage the only problem SHOULD be that it wont work until the correct voltage is selected.

Have 2 switches on the Side of the fridge not sure what they are for
WILL be experimenting a bit more.

AC 240 has 3 pin plug / 12v gas two wires and may have cigaret lighter plug .. If there's an AC switch ? Make sure it's on 240v. NOT 110v .. 12v is to run off solar or battery . Which imp is better than runing through an inverter ..

Our previous one has
240. 12. Gas on selectors.
We leave in a months time so just sorting out a few wrinkles
Our fridge has options for ac and dc
Which one do i use for 240 vt power
And which one fo i use for 12 vt power
240 volt is AC
12 volt is DC
