Welcome to the forum.
The Annexe can be a bit fiddly to fit if you haven't seen it done.
There is a very good Avan Club in WA. Give George Day Caravans a Ring and Ask for John Critchley. WA Avan club co ordinator he will give you lots of help and direction.
Regards
Mike and Elie

Lots of GN members in Perth and surrounds - lovely people all of them. Welcome to the forum, and enjoy your travels. - A Van - bit smaller than a truck!
Did you know the members of the A Van club have a special greeting - find Weevil on this site (GN) - he will tell you all about it

As a Cruiser owner we are still looking for a decent annexe that does exactly what you want and is easy to put up. For the last 4 years every time we see an annexe attached to a Cruiser or Cruiseliner we ask the owners for honest answers and they all seem to be a compromise. If you look at adverts selling Aliners/Cruisers/Cruiseliners you will often see that it has an annexe included either "like new, never used or used once".
Similarly on the Avan Club web site they often have annexes for sale "used once only" (there is one on there now!) There is a message there!!!!
One name we hear mentioned often is "Austral Canvas" who seem to be more practical with the design than others who basically alter generic annexes to fit your van.
In the meantime we just use the basic canopy that is easy to erect and provide some cover.
Remember an annexe will take up lots of precious room on a Cruiseliner.
Good Luck.

I can put the standard Avan Annexe up with the roof up, and by myself. Also remove it with the roof in the up position. As I said it is fiddly unless you see it done and the minor mod needed to achieve it.
Our choice is to use the Halls Jiffy awning (designed by David Hall Avanner Club Member) We made this ourselves Can be put up easily. We use this as it suits our needs at present. It's very light so the Standard one stays at home.
Quite a few of our Avan friends always put their standard Avan issue awning up when staying a few days. This includes a lot of the Solo ladies. They seem to manage OK.
