I believe it appears mostly in the summer months and un-like 'flu' is rarely experienced in winter. And of course it must not be confused with 'caravanitis' which can also be quite serious ;)

Jenny and Barry,
I think I've got "caravanitis". Going on a cruise this week but thinking more of taking the caravan away when we get back. What is the cure?

a few people are 'cured' after one trip but for most of us here on the forum we are actually happy to 'cope' with the disease. But it does require frequent attention that may involve travelling long distances. ;)

I know I have gastric amnesia....................I forget that I ate, forget to count calories, forget that cucumber repeats, and that curry made me sick last time, forget that I am a chip-aholic and can't stop.....

Rosie, hope you find a coping way to deal with your problem. I'm going to follow Jenny and Barry's advice and spend more time on the road.
Gday...
Cheers - John
That sounds serious
