"Kickass" is also the name of a company in the USA that sell fans, along with other stuff. I don't know if they are related.
There is no way that they make solar panels. They will almost certainly come from China like most do.
Personally, I would never deal with a company with a name like that, but that has nothing to do with the product they sell.
Cheers,
Peter

I stand corrected.. It seems the cheaper Chinese panels are better now..

They are a good product that's all I can say

Bitdeals panels are just as good and half the price of Kickass panels
Cheers John

I'll second that. I've just bought a new panel from Bitdeals to add to the bank. Now just got to get the energy to fit it.

Got their name recommended from another forum.

For all of us here, I think it comes down to when you find something good you stick to it. Asking in the forums is a good thing when you don't know because you'll get best user experience over sales pitches. On our last trip I met half a dozen people who were unfortunate to buy the cheaper (and not so cheaper) panels that where fitted with cables not much thicker than speaker cable. Whilst the insulation looked thick enough the actual wire was very thin and at best was only 10 Amp cable. What horrified me most was the lengths of the cable being supplied, a couple where as long as 15 Meters. A quick tip is to unscrew the Solar Plugs and examine the wire going into it to see how thick it actually is.
When I was in Cairns I went to the local JayCrap store to grab some heatshrink and overheard a young salesperson giving the hard sell on an unsuspecting customer, who told the customer he could have any length of cable he'd like. He was pointing to a roll of twin core 10 Amp cable and said "we use this stuff all the time for solar panel extensions". In order to control myself I had to make a quick exit from the store. I can only hope the customer had the sense to get a second opinion before shelling out his hard earned cash. Credit due, the salesperson was trying to sell the customer what he wanted, just not what he needed and this is the difference.
So Goldenyears, you're doing the right thing asking for advice here, rather than listening to the sales people or relying on the sales video's. Your only problem will be choosing one from the many very good recomendations, Good luck - Steve.

My new up grade panels have the plug in wire which is way thicker than existing "pro" (??) fitted cable .
I just run wire in parallel and link at regulator as wire size didn't fit in 30 amp reg..
Yes it pays to do your own research or you can be way disadvantaged ..
Why I try to do my my own work!

Thanks all for the advice after doing a lot of research I'm still non the wiser good and bad reports for most panels and I think the more one researches the harder it gets lol !! we have the Melbourne camping show next weekend feb 24th will do some more research there ! Have been told that the bosch panels ( genuine bosch ) have a good reputation for reliability don't mind paying a bit more for quality BUT is not always the case !!!!!!
